Tammy Mellons recently sat down on camera to share her memories for the upcoming docudrama Still The Jukebox Junkie, written, directed, and produced by Corey Frizzell. The film follows the life and career of 90s country star Ken Mellons.

As Ken Mellons’ sister, Tammy offers a personal look at what he was like growing up at home. During her interview, she reflects on their early years together and watching Ken develop an interest in music at a young age.

Tammy also recalls the excitement of seeing that passion grow into something much bigger, eventually leading to Ken signing his first record deal. Her perspective provides a heartfelt glimpse into the family moments that helped shape Mellons’ journey into country music.

Her memories add another meaningful layer to Still The Jukebox Junkie, helping tell the story of Ken Mellons not only as an artist, but through the eyes of those who knew him long before the spotlight.
