90s Country Star Ken Mellons to Be Inducted into the 2026 North America Country Music Associations International (NACMAI) Hall of Fame.


Ken Mellons, the acclaimed 1990s country music artist best known for his hit “Jukebox Junkie,” has been selected as a 2026 inductee into the North American Country Music Association International (NACMAI) Hall of Fame. Mellons joins the ranks of celebrated country music figures being honored for their contributions to the genre.


A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Mellons launched his recording career in 1994 with his self-titled debut album, which produced the 90's anthem “Jukebox Junkie” — a standout Top Ten hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Over the years, he has continued to write, record and perform, crafting a lasting legacy in country and honky-tonk music.


The NACMAI Hall of Fame recognizes artists, songwriters, entertainers, and industry leaders who have made significant contributions to country music. Past inductees include legendary artists such as Randy Travis, Mel Tills, and Marty Raybon of Shenandoah, placing Mellons among distinguished company in the genre’s history.


The 2026 induction ceremony will celebrate Mellons alongside other honorees, including Dallas Wayne, Con Hunley, The Malpass Brothers, Stevie Lee Woods, David Wills, continuing NACMAI’s tradition of preserving and promoting country music heritage.
