Filming for the upcoming docudrama Still The Jukebox Junkie recently included a special interview with Dwight Whitley and Flora Whitley of the Keith Whitley family, whose connection to country music history brings a meaningful perspective to the film. Dwight is the brother to the late, country icon, Keith Whitley.


During the interview, Dwight and Flo shared their thoughts on their long-standing relationship with 90s country star Ken Mellons, recalling years of friendship and experiences together in the country music world. They also spoke about Mellons’ connection to the late, great Keith Whitley, offering personal insight into the relationships that helped shape Mellons’ journey in country music.


Their reflections add an important piece to the story being told in Still The Jukebox Junkie, the docudrama currently in production that follows the life and career of Ken Mellons and the music that helped define an era of traditional country.
